Tribute to Lyn It is with deep sadness that I find myself in the company of family and friends paying their last respects to Lydon (Dean Sealy-Hendrickson) on his sudden passing. Some of us have the gift of foreseeing the future, whether it be in a dream, a headache, an indescribable feeling or even the odd behaviour of a pet. Fortunately or unfortunately, I do not have that gift and I am happy simply ...walking by faith (2 Cor5v7). And so I was shocked when Shirley called on Thursday 21/2/21 and told me that Lyn was dead. I was temporarily thrown off my equilibrium because that was the last thing I'd expected to hear. I remember him as a mere baby. He was the love of Gangan's life and the pride  and joy of his father Mr. Sealy, whom we called Uncle. He was loved by all, especially by Dawn and Carol, both of whom will greatly miss him. In Nevis the next time I saw him after many years, he was tall, stout and a giant of a man. He greeted me with outstretched arms, like angel wings, in a mild embracing hug. And every time he visited that was his trademark. And on the two or three times he came on vacation he thoroughly enjoyed it here in Nevis, his adopted country.  Lyn was the youngest and last of the Adora (Gangan) Hendrickson line. And unfortunately the first to leave us. Last in, first out. Such a short sojourn with us - a timely reminder of how short life really is, telling us to live and use it wisely in God's vineyard here on earth! Thank you Lyn. Lyn you also taught us that life is fragile. And so I can see Lyn with outstretched angelic wings calmly running to embrace his mum and dad who preceeded him in glory where with them we pray God would enable him to rest in eternal peace.
