Karen 30th March 2021

My dear Lyndon, My heart is heavy as I write this because it is so hard to believe that you are no longer with us... I can recall snippets of life in the house on Grantham Road in Sparkbrook. You lived upstairs with Tanty Dora and the rest of the Hendrickson family. I lived downstairs with my Dad, Gilbert and my Mom, Thelma. As children we went back and forth/upstairs and downstairs ALL the time. You were like a big brother to me. And as I think about it now, you were my first friend and playmate. I know you are no longer suffering and are in a better place. So, when I think of you now, I will fondly remember your smile (it was always just a tad bit mischievous - as if you were the only one “in” on a big secret or joke...). You will be missed dear cousin, Rest In Peace. Karen Gumbs
